Notice of Commencement of Audit 2024
Notice is hereby given that the audit of the accounts of the above-named local government organisation for the financial year ended on the 31st day of December, 2024 will be commenced by Gerard McMorrow, Local Government Auditor, on the 11th day of August 2025. In accordance with article 17 of the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014, objections to any matter or matters contained in the said several accounts will be considered by the Local Government Auditor during the audit.

Wexford County Council has established a Heritage Forum to advise it on the preparation and implementation of a Local Authority Heritage Plan. The aim of the Heritage Plan is to protect, conserve and where appropriate enhance the natural, built and cultural heritage of the county and to encourage all to appreciate, enjoy, understand and care for our heritage. A Draft Discussion Paper on the Heritage Plan has been prepared which provides more information. It can be found below:

Beach Bus services 2025
Beach services will run every Saturday & Sunday and Public Holiday from May 31st to August 31st.
We will also have a daily service for a two week period for the first two weeks of August. Unfortunately that will not apply to the Wexford to Curracloe service during the week of the Fleadh
