Are you Waste Compliant?
The Southern Waste Region Campaign 'Are you Waste Compliant' began on 20 June 2019 and concerns the waste presentation bye-laws adopted by all of the counties in the Southern Region.
The main focus of the campaign is Are you Waste Compliant and is aimed mainly at householders.
You can comply by:
-
Having a wheelie bin with an authorised collector
-
By bringing your waste to an authorised facility and keeping receipts
-
Sharing a bin with a maximum of one other household (proof of the bin and permission to use it will be required)
For further information on what to do with waste, preventing waste, composting, recycling etc, visit www.mywaste.ie.
This campaign ties in with planned inspections, as part of the waste presentation bye-law enforcement, by Council staff across the region.
