Committed to raising awareness of safe biking practices
Wexford County Council have worked in partnership with organisations like Safe Cycling Ireland to promote the “Share the Road” and "Stayin Alive at 1.5m" campaigns since 2014.
Initiatives include
- Creation of "Share the Road" videos and awareness campaign.
- Supporting the "Stayin Alive at 1.5m" campaign with posters, signs, vehicle stickers and financial support.
- Adding the "Stayin Alive at 1.5m" decal to over 40 council vehicles
