Wexford County Council are currently seeking to create a panel of interested garden centres / gardening supply providers for the provision of gardening supplies as covered under the terms of the Planting Grant Scheme 2024. This panel is for a year. A community group will apply for a planting grant and as part of their application will select one participating outlet from a list of qualifying garden centre / gardening supply providers. Applications from groups are processed and if approved the group will be given a credit to the value of the approved amount (maximum grant €300). This credit will be spent by the approved group at their selected participating garden centre/ gardening supply provider. Please be advised that inclusion on a panel does not automatically guarantee business. The approved community group will select the retailer and not Wexford County Council.
