The aim of the scheme is to recognise individual talented sports performers in County Wexford and encourage them to develop to their full potential by providing funding to assist with the costs associated with competing at a high level.
Wexford County Council is committed to supporting Wexford’s most talented athletes to reach world class podiums. As a result, a funding stream has been developed which is open to athletes, who are competing or aspiring at regional level (or equivalent) or above.
Sports Active Wexford administer the grant on behalf of Wexford County Council.
Funding is limited and we are expecting to be oversubscribed with applications, so applicants are encouraged to provide the detail and references required. Please refer to the criteria.
