Professional Development Workshops for Artists
Building on from the success of a series of professional development workshops funded through Creative Ireland that were held in 2019.
Wexford Arts Office in partnership with Visual Artist Ireland will deliver a further series of professional development workshops for artists based in County Wexford.
Workshops will cover areas such as:
• Creative Applications
• Percent for Art Applications
• Meeting with Curators
The idea behind these workshops is to prepare artists for upcoming opportunities and presenting their work to curators. This will be done through a combination of online workshops and a Visual Artists Café with a focus on 5 curators talking about how they find artists, the areas of practice that they are interested in, and having portfolio review appointments completing the day.
