Ways to Join the Library
In order to join the library, you need to complete an application form, either online or in person at the library.
You can join the library online using this form and you will be issued with a temporary library card number. You will need to bring your temporary number to any of our branches to complete your registration within one month. You must be over the age of 18 to register online.
Alternatively, you can join in any of our library branches - just ask a member of staff.
Library Membership Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement
Before submitting your application form please read the terms and conditions, code of conduct and the data privacy statement.
If you are under the age of 18, you must review the terms and conditions with your parent or guardian before agreeing, to make sure that you and your parent or guardian understand library membership terms and conditions.
What will I need?
In order to join the library a person must either complete an official application form either online or in person in a library branch.
You will need to show us some proof of your address, e.g. driver’s licence/utility bill and photo ID.
Children and young people under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent/guardian to join the library and a parent/guardian must accept the library membership terms and conditions on their behalf. The parent/guardian will need photo ID and proof of address.
When a child or young person is eligible to change borrower category from a Child membership to a Young Adult (12-14), or a Young Adult (12-14) to a Young Adult (15-17) membership, parents/guardians must accept the terms and conditions of membership on their behalf.
Does it cost anything to join the Library?
No, it's free! You can borrow a maximum of 12 items at any time and being a member means you will have access to public library services across the country, not just County Wexford!
