Note that Gorey Library is closed on Saturdays and Mondays of Bank Holiday weekends. The My Open Library service operates on Bank Holiday weekends.

My Open Library, Gorey

The My Open Library service offers extended opening hours by providing library access to My Open Library members from 8am to 10pm every day. Staffed hours continue on the normal schedule.

You must be 16 or over to register for this service. Under 16s can access only with a parent or guardian.

Accessible Library Services

  • Large Print Material
  • Audio Books
  • Computer software reader available on public access PC (Software that can read what's written on the computer screen)
  • Computer assist hardware available on accessible PC e.g. keyboard with large keys, tracker ball as an alternative to a mouse
  • Portable loop system to aid hearing impaired users
